Buddhist Project Sunshine News Service has kicked off a GoFundMe campaign to cover our annual operating costs.
The BPS News Service is dedicated to the process of cultural renewal in Shambhala and the greater Buddhist world. We hope to be able to continue to provide timely and relevant news updates from a wide range of sources, in an attempt to cover all perspectives related to the ongoing efforts at moving Shambhala away from a culture of sexualized violence and other ethical violations to a culture of openness, compassion and clarity.
This news service is volunteer run and the overheads for operating the service are very low. Up until now our costs have been funded through last year’s Buddhist Project Sunshine fundraising efforts. The annual renewals are coming up in mid-May. Our expenses consist of domain registration, web hosting and e-mail campaigns, and a low fee bank account. We need to raise $500 to ensure that we are able to operate effectively as a news service for the upcoming year.
All funds received will be deposited for use into a dedicated BPS bank account.
